My new job–and a book giveaway!

January 6, 2016 By Liz Weston

41ZGOGACDyL._SX334_BO1,204,203,200_I’m delighted to announce that I’ve accepted a job with Nerdwallet, the personal finance site, and to celebrate this leap I’m giving away a copy of Tess Vigeland’s wonderful memoir “Leap: Leaving a Job with No Plan B.”

To enter to win, please leave a comment here on my blog (not my Facebook page).

You can add a comment below. Make sure to include your email address, which won’t show up with your comment, but I’ll be able to see it.

All comments are moderated. So it may take a little while for your comment to show up. But rest assured, it will.

The winners will be chosen at random Friday night. Over the weekend, please check your email (including your spam filter). If I don’t hear from a winner by noon Pacific time on Monday, his or her prize will be forfeited and I’ll pick another winner.

Also, check back here often for other giveaways.

The deadline to enter is midnight Pacific time on Friday. So–comment away!

Congratulations Liz on your new job at Nerdwallet! I will follow your blog thereunto. Hope you still keep a presence in Facebook. Since the economic shock of 2008 my small business coasted to its closing in 2010. There was no plan B for surprisingly the industry went through a disgraceful turn of events. Only recently has that industry shown signs of sprouting back to life. I’m slowly accomplishing almost unnoticed -and with a string budget plus credit 0% repay- the home remodeling we despearately need while also inspired into writing a book. After 4 mishaps and two departed pets , one still fills the hearts with encouragement. Even if I do not win, I think that writer’s experience may bring new avenues for me to explore; a win non the less backed with faith, hope, determination and gratitude for a serendipitous marital bliss at the dawn of the burst which provides the alluded to string budget for remodeling . Therefore I have decided to purchase a copy of this book you are about to give away. Happy New Year at Nerdwallet!
