Good grief, Dr. Andrew. Apparently California's insurance commissioner has called for a "postponement" of the consumer rate increases, but no word on cuts to physicians.

Anthem sent me a letter in November, (I am a "preferred" physical therapy provider with them), telling me that under my new contract I would take a 58% cut in reimbursement. This would amount to a $200,000 a year LOSS of revenue but I would have to treat the patients with my current amount of staff and overhead. Yet, outpatient hospital physical therapy and physician owned physical therapy would NOT be forced to take this cut.
