		<description>Scary, indeed, although I&#039;m not worried about my accounts with Schwab, Fidelity, et al. Where people seem to get into trouble is when they place their money with someone who promises a &quot;better deal&quot; than the rest of the world can get.</description>

I have taken an additional step with regard to fraud protection from your advisors.  We have our retirement money in 2-3 accounts with each being at a different company (T-Rowe Price, Fidelity, etc).    In the unlikely event that a &quot;Madoff&quot; type fraud should ever hit one of these companies, at least all our money would not be affected.    The stories are entire nesteggs being wiped out were very scary.</description>
