For me, that would entail cash back rewards, not necessarily interest rate. If a new credit card product increases ING Direct's ability to move savings interest rates up so they are once again competitive with the best of the high-yield rates, I wouldn't mind. I don't think I'd use ING's credit card since I don't use their ATM card for my accounts with them anyway. Plus I do like the Amex rewards program and I don't need a new credit account to drag down my credit score. As much as they've branded themselves as an 'anti-bank' they can make revenue however they want. I do not have to use a product just because they have it.
